Visiting all the way from Broome Australia, I have the pleasure of presenting the new Mr. and Mrs. Patterson, Greg and Cara. Making this their third trip out to Las Vegas, Greg and Cara wanted to do something special, something memorable. So after 7 years of dating they decided it was time to put a ring on it and get married by none other than the king of rock, Elvis!!
Greg and Cara’s ceremony was held at the iconic Las Vegas Neon Museum, personally one of my favorite spots for photo shoots. Not in what we would consider traditional wedding attire, their outfits and even their unique choice of wedding rings, all let their wonderful personalities really shine though. Cara’s wedding ring was an especially gorgeous triangle cut blue lapis lazuli that looked amazing on her. Accompanied by close friends from their home town of London, the ceremony was full of fun and laughs. Greg and Cara’s friends even brought a boom box equipped with the sound of a cheering crowd for the moment Elvis pronounced them officially married.
Once the ceremony concluded, I took Greg and Cara around the museum capturing these two newlyweds love and joy for each other. Using a Polaroid camera their friends had brought along, they snapped a few instant memories of their own which I thought was so adorable. As the sun set, and the lights came on, the electric signs came alive giving off colored lights that highlighted Greg’s suite and reflected beautifully off of Cara’s dress.
Thank you Greg and Cara for sharing your wedding day with me. I had a wonderful time with you and wish you best in your future!
