I recently joined the Beck family at their home in Las Vegas to help welcome their adorable little baby Bob home. I truly don’t believe their is a more perfect location to do a newborn’s family photos than in the comfort and privacy of the family’s home. Bob was so amazing at taking naps, he let me pose him as long as I wanted and was such a trooper through all the different costume changes we had planned for him.

I photographed Tara and Robert’s wedding back in 2009, and am so elated to have them remain close clients and dear friends. I photographed their little Lainy’s one year portraits as well as her six month portraits.

I absolutely LOVE when people bring new ideas to a photo shoot that really highlight their personalities. This time around mom and dad wanted to give Bob an early Hogwarts school picture, posing him with his Harry Potter glasses and wand.

A big thank you to the Beck clan for letting me help you capture these early memories of Bob and your sweet family!

Bringing with them a unique and stylish fashion from across the pond, Jessica and Lee arrived from the UK ready to have a Las Vegas wedding under the neon lights. The first thing I noticed when meeting Jessica and Lee was there panache for style. Lee was dressed in one of the most unique suites I have ever seen, light grey sharkskin fabric, crimson red tie, Bermuda shorts and of course silver dress shoes to tie it all together. Not to be outdone Jessica adorned a beautifully embellished vintage wedding gown with the matching vintage lace wedding veil. Lee and Jessica made the decision to be married at the Neon Museum, a Las Vegas museum also known as the neon graveyard. The Neon Museum is where all the historic giant neon signs from various hotels and casinos are sent after being decommissioned. After their short and intimate ceremony, we had a blast shooting with all the different signage making for an interesting and fun scenery. As the sun set we finished at the neon museum taking advantage of some of the recently restored to life signs giving Jess and Lee that true Vegas neon wedding feel. We then took a drive down to Fremont Streets Plaza casino to get some pictures of the newlywed couple celebrating their recent union. The hundreds of overhead lights of the Plaza lit Jessica’s vintage dress up so stunningly we just had to stop for that perfect photo.

Thank you Lee and Jessica for sharing your amazing style with me!! You’ve both set the bar a little higher for wedding fashion.

Stephanie & Richard came all the way from their home in New Zealand for an exciting Las Vegas wedding, and I, for one, am thrilled they chose to celebrate their union here in Vegas – Vegas style. Being Stephanie and Richard’s first visit to Las Vegas, they were both eager to hit the strip, see the city and make some memories. As their photographer and newly designated tour guide, I began our journey at the Bellagio hotel for a few quick shots with their vintage lamp posts and elaborate walkways. Timing was everything as we made it across the street just in time for the Bellagio’s spectacular water show. Everything about water being blasted hundreds of feet in the air just screams as a great backdrop for a newlywed couple! We then headed over to the bright red hustle and bustle of the Planet Hollywood casino, which just so happen to match our lovely bride’s beautiful red hair. This adorable couple looked perfectly in place surrounded by bright red and white flowers as well as the endless number people congratulating them on their marriage. Finishing up our Vegas strip adventure, it was time to head back to the Hard Rock Casino honeymoon suite, where our couples were met by the lovely officiant Angie Kelly of Peachy Keen Unions to make their union “peechy keen.” Joined by close friends and family, the ceremony took place at their suite in the Hard Rock and true to name, the only way to describe the décor would be “rock and roll.” Mirrored ceilings and giant paintings of smoking gorillas made for some extremely interesting and creative photographs. I wish Stephanie & Richard congratulations and all the happiness in the world on their new journey together.

  • Angie Kelly, officiant - Wow, those shots in the room are amazing! What a simple, yet utterly complete, ceremony it was. Beautiful work Suzi and congrat to our FABULOUS couple! I can’t wait to pin a few of these images!ReplyCancel

Happy belated 4th of July!! It may be September 13th, but is there ever a wrong time to celebrate our nations Independence Day? LOL. I just had to share a few shots I took of my family hanging out in Pahrump with my mom and sister. The girls loved posing in their vintage Radio Flyer red wagon, and of course it’s 100% made in the U.S.A. After the girls had their mini photo session we headed over to Petrack Park for the 4th of July Festival there. The kids had tons of fun. I didn’t plan on the kids getting wet, but there was a humungo water slide that the kids wanted to slide on, so they did that for a few hours!
The day after, I found a cute field along the side of the road and took a few shots of my girls in their cute new bonnets that I scored at the Festival the day before!

  • Lisa - Those are just about the best kid smiles ever (besides mine, of course)! Love the bonnets and the field…ahh, fresh air and fun!ReplyCancel

Well, friends, it’s that time of year again! The weather is starting to cool off, the kids are back in school, fall is here, and holiday family portraits are in full swing!
So, take advantage of these amazing packages while they last!
Limited dates and sessions are available.
Also, sessions at these prices, are only going to be offered in September and October, so act quickly to guarantee your spot!

It’s so heartwarming when clients are so satisfied they invite you back to share another milestone in their growth of their family. Dana & Billy had their November wedding filmed with Lighten Films back in 2011 and enjoyed us so much they made the decision to use Vitamin C Photography to capture Dana’s maternity. We decided to use the Springs Preserve as the scenery for our expecting mother. There’s just something so natural about surrounding an expecting mother with the beautiful green growth of the preserves gardens. I had a ton of fun with Dana and Billy and despite the humidity and heat they were excellent models to work with. I look forward to hearing about the birth of their child and can’t wait to share another moment with the family and do a newborn session with them!!

We filmed Shante and Marcus’ wedding a few years ago, and now they have two sweet little girls, and I the pleasure of taking photos of their newest little addition, baby Mikailia. Her mommy says she is such a good baby, who self-soothes and sleeps all of the time. She is a total doll! Thank you for letting me capture so much cuteness!
